TINY Dancers. CORE Energy.
WHAT IS — TINY CORE
After a season in The Launch, some dancers are ready for more.
More stage time. More training. More teamwork.
That’s where Tiny Core begins.
Designed for dancers ages 2–4 who have completed at least one season of recreational Launch classes, Tiny Core offers a gentle introduction to the competitive world — with an extra performance opportunity and team-focused training.
It’s fun. It’s supportive. It’s the first bold step toward joining The Core one day.
Tiny Core is:
• ✨ For dancers ages 2–4 coming from The Launch
• ✨ A stepping stone into competitive dance
• ✨ Extra stage time + team energy
• ✨ Where tiny dancers build big confidence
Because bold doesn’t wait.
Be Bold. Be Tiny Core.
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD
7/8 — 5:15-5:45
NO AUDITION FEE
WHY STAGE TIME MATTERS
For young dancers, the stage is more than just lights and music — It’s a place where confidence grows, independence builds, and memories are made.
Tiny Core gives dancers ages 2–4 a fun, low-pressure way to experience the excitement of performing at a real competition — without the intensity of full-time CORE life.
It’s just like our recreational program (The Launch), but with one added opportunity:
✨ One local dance competition to shine on stage!
Dancers aren’t eligible for The Core until age 5 — and Tiny Core is the perfect way to bridge the gap and prepare them for the next level, without early burnout.
More fun. More growth. More sparkle.
Tiny Core = confidence on stage, without the pressure.
Bri Cleary — Tiny Core Director/Instructor
Briana Cleary has proudly called Monroe, Wisconsin home since 2006, when she began her career teaching art in the School District of Monroe. She lives in Monroe with her husband, Patrick, and their daughters, Braylin and Elyse, both members of the 23 Dance Space Core Competitive Team.
Originally from Door County, Wisconsin, Cleary holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. In 2009, she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. She achieved National Board Certification in 2011 and successfully renewed it in 2021.
A passionate advocate for art education, Cleary works to integrate the arts into all aspects of student learning—both within and beyond the classroom. Her dedication extends from the school level to district, community, and statewide initiatives.
Cleary’s background in dance began in middle school and continued through high school and college, where she was a four-year member of both her high school dance team and the UW–Stout dance team. In 2008, she began coaching the Monroe High School dance team, a brand new program at MHS. She helped lead the program to its first state appearance in 2011. She coached until 2013 before stepping back to focus on family.
Since 2022, Cleary has been part of the teaching staff at 23 Dance Space. She currently instructs the studio’s youngest competitive team, a role she has embraced since Season 5.
