Kierra Zahradka has been part of 23 Dance Space since Season One, following four years of training under studio owner and Artistic Director Brittany Price before joining the studio. Her passion for teaching became evident early in her dance career. Kierra began assisting Brittany’s classes at just 11 years old and taught her first class at 12, leading a recreational lyrical class through the Launch program. She continued assisting in both Launch and Core before becoming a full time Launch instructor at just 14 years old.

Kierra has continued to grow as both a dancer and educator throughout her years at 23 Dance Space. As a competitive dancer, she has earned numerous first overall awards for her solo performances, along with multiple scholarships and special recognitions. She has trained extensively through conventions and intensives, where she has consistently been recognized as a standout dancer and has had opportunities to assist on stage during convention classes. Her training continues today as she pursues her education in college while remaining actively involved in dance.

As a choreographer, Kierra began by teaching competitive solos, several of which went on to earn first overall honors. She later took on her first Core group choreography project, creating a routine that received numerous accolades and showcased her natural ability to create movement that is both entertaining and effective in a competitive setting. Kierra’s experience extends beyond competitive studio dance as well, as she is an All State recipient with her high school dance team.

Kierra’s greatest strength as an educator is her ability to connect with every dancer who walks into her classroom. She is patient, kind, encouraging, and intentional about making each student feel seen, heard, and valued. She knows how to lead a class while creating an environment where dancers feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, and challenging themselves.

Now a college student, Kierra continues to teach whenever her schedule allows, including teaching within the Launch and Core programs, assisting with summer training, and stepping in as a substitute teacher. Her years of teaching experience, combined with her continued growth as a dancer and choreographer, make Kierra a truly one of a kind educator and an invaluable part of 23 Dance Space.
